Oscar week got off to a swinging start at Tuesday night’s Young Hollywood Celebration hosted by Vanity Fair and Fiat. The exclusive, invite-only fete, thrown in support of the Terrence Higgins Trust, a British org dedicated to raising awareness of HIV, was held at Hollywood’s chic and cozy No Vacancy, where hosts James Corden, soon-to-be host of CBS’ “The Late Late Show” (which bows March 23), and Krista Smith, Vanity Fair’s West Coast editor, were among the myriad party people hobnobbing with the likes of Whitney Cummings, Cat Deeley, Sarah Hyland and Taryn Manning, who spent ample time thanking fans for their support of both her music career and hit Netflix series “Orange Is the New Black.”
A photo booth, signature cocktails — a Grey Goose-citron blend served in a champagne flute was one popular choice — and an array of tasty hors d’oeuvres lent a spirited vibe to the celestial-studded soiree, along with a range of high-energy tunes spun by DJ Ms. Nix.
The kickoff event, part of Vanity Fair’s ongoing Campaign Hollywood, is the first of several industrytoasts marking the lead-up to Sunday’s Academy Awards. Odeya posted for photos on the red carpet and with actors Zoey Deutch and Britt Robertson.
